Clean Drinking Water – How to Get the Purest Water
Let's face it; the days of clean drinking water coming out of the tap are long gone. In most cases you can even smell the stench of chlorine in a glass of water. In today's world we need to protect ourselves with a water filter system of some kind, to get the purest drinking water.
A recent study found over 2100 chemicals and toxins in our tap water. Yep, you read it right, over 2100. That's an unbelievable amount.
The use of pesticides and herbicides has become so excessive that they are now commonly found in household tap water and bottled water with alarming frequency, leaving us with no clean drinking water.
Once we understand that everything that goes down the drain, on our lawns, on our agricultural fields or into the environment eventually winds up in the water we drink, we can see just how vulnerable our water supply really is, and how it is up to us to get the purest drinking water.
Remember this: there is no "new" water, our planet just reuses the same water over and over again.
Water companies just can't afford to give use clean drinking water as it's just not cost effective. This is because only a tiny fraction of the water we use is used for drinking. Just simple economics I'm afraid.
The heavy use of chlorine can be damaging to our health but is used because it is cheap, and to be fair, does wipe out many contaminates but is itself a toxic substance. The maximum allowable amount of chlorine permitted in some swimming pools is lower than for our tap water, and you know what they smell like!
So it is essential that we arm ourselves (literally) with a proper filter to get clean drinking water. You may already use a kitchen a jug type filter but those are the most expensive and least effective of all filters, though better than nothing at all, but they won't give you the purest drinking water by a long shot.
My advice would be to stay away from any reverse osmosis systems as they remove very valuable minerals, like calcium and potassium which we need to maintain our health, and don't effectively remove chlorine and other contaminants. In addition they are very wasteful and very noisy.
You need to find a high quality water filtration system, and one that uses a multi-stage process. These normally employ an activated granular carbon submicron filter that will remove a proven 99% of all contaminants, but crucially, leave you with those valuable trace minerals.
They are very cost effective and will give you the greatest tasting and most clean drinking water you've ever experienced.
Now that you are armed with this information, I hope you will look into clean drinking water filters a little harder, and make to a point to dramatically improve the quality of the water you drink, and ultimately your own health, and giving yourself the purest drinking water in the process.
